A new version of the official PlayStation App will soon be heading to the Android Market and App Store.
 
Tagged as version 1.1, the upcoming update includes "some of the most requested features' by the mobile community. This includes:
In the MyPSN section you’ll be able to order your friend list based on their online status and search for friends.
You will now have the ability to compare trophy information with your friends in more detail.
In the Blog section, you’ll now be able to comment directly from the app and also rate the posts in portrait and landscape mode.
There is a new section in the app called Share & Discuss. In there you’ll find all our official PlayStation updates from Twitter, Facebook and YouTube.

Announced late last year, the official PlayStation App is targeted mainly at European PlayStation users as it will only be available in the region. The free app does not let you play games.

Intresting how they want to branch out to phones and such when they can't even keep socom.com running without no problems! The past 2 days been getting site down for Maintenance! I need the Socom site for my Information and assault plans!

I think Sony need to give us !!
